How it started
With a combined climbing and expedition rap sheet of over 20 years between them, the founders of VenturePro, Rob and Matt know what makes an adventure amazing!
One day, in the middle of the Himalayas, they decided that being able to share this knowledge, the relationships they had built around the world and to be able to provide unforgettable experiences to like minded adventurers was the way!
The Rob
Ex HMF and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Rob likes nothing better than wandering off into remote locations for months at a time.
A published photographer and writer, Rob has specialised in expeditions into extreme environments to bring back images and stories that explore the human story and the amazing wild spaces on our planet.
The Matt
For Matt it isn't just about the beautiful backdrops and the challenge of the climb, it’s as much about the whole experience - the cultures learnt, the local communities, and connecting with likeminded people.
Lucky enough to have travelled to some of the world’s most amazing locations, he now uses these experiences to help and enable others to live out their dreams, helping them find their own journey of adventure.
