DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM - This adventure requires a basic level of fitness and preparation prior to taking part. There will be long days of trekking at increasing altitude. You will be required to provide a doctors certificate or letter to show your health is suitable to take part in the activity. This is a standard requirement to obtain permits.
ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 - Flight to Lukla (an experience in itself!) and a short 3-4 hour trek to Chutanga
Day 3 - Trek 5-6 hours Chutanga to Tuli Kharka visiting Zatrawa La Pass (4,610m)
Day 4 - Trek 4-6 hrs Tuli Kharka to Kothe
Day 5 - Trek 4-6 hrs Kothe to Thangnak
Day 6 - Trek Thangnak to Khare (5,054m)
Day 7 - Rest day in Khare with training session of equipment and techniques
Day 8 - Trek 4-6 hrs Khre to Mera Peak Base Camp!!! (5,400m)
Day 9 - Base Camp to High Camp trek (5,790m)
Day 10 - Summit Day!!! High Camp to Mera Peak Summit (6,476m) and return to Khare - a long but fulfilling day
Day 11 - Khare to Kothe trek
Day 12 - Kothe to Tuli Kharka trek
Day 13 - Kharka to Lukla trek
Day 14 - Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day15 - Departure flights from Kathmandu

INCLUSIONS:
Internal transfer flights from Kathmandu to Lukla and return (Heli transfers not included if used)
Transfers to and from main arrival terminal in Kathmandu
Arrival and Departure day accomodation in Kathmandu
Trek accomodation in lodges and tented basecamp accomodation where applicable on a full board basis
Main meals on mountain
Climbing and trekking permits where applicable
Refuse disposal fees
Climbing sherpas / Trekking guides and Porters
Insurances / Wages and allowances for climb / trekking staff
Where applicable, techincal skills / training support pre summit
